Hi, I'm Philipp – a Software Engineer with 18 years of experience in IT, focused on building software end-to-end across application development, architecture, cloud, and delivery.
My deepest expertise is in full-stack software engineering: C#/.NET on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend. I care about software architecture and design, from domain-driven design and clean architecture to APIs, distributed systems, and integration. I bring that application and architectural perspective into the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, designing and building cloud-native systems that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
What I enjoy most is connecting the different parts of a system. A good solution is not just well-written code: it also needs a thoughtful user experience, a sound architecture, reliable infrastructure, automated delivery, and enough observability to understand how it behaves in production.
I'm expanding my depth and breadth in cloud-native engineering – exploring containers and Kubernetes, platform engineering and developer experience, CI/CD and GitOps, observability and SRE, security, AI-assisted engineering, data, networking, and green software. I approach these areas through hands-on experiments and real-world implementations rather than treating them as isolated technologies.
